Hydraulic pushers

Hydraulic pushers are drive mechanisms that hydraulically convert electrical energy into the actuator's mechanical motion.

They are used as a brake shoe drive for crane equipment.

The designation of the TE-H1 H2 series means the following:

  • TE — electrohydraulic pusher;
  • H1 — kg/s, average value of lifting force with brakes on;
  • H2 — climate-related design and placement category.

All TE hydraulic pushers can operate with environmental indicators corresponding to the types of climate-related design:

  • U category ІІ — GOST 15150-69
  • LH category ІІ — GOST 15543.1.

Long-term operation is permissible if the air temperature does not exceed 25ºC.

General principles

In their operating position, crane hydraulic pushers lock brake shoes on a lifting winch. It should be noted that the rod is at its low point. If it is necessary to move or lift crane equipment, the electric motor is switched on and oil is injected for the piston.

The generated pressure moves the rod up where it remains during the application of voltage to the motor and loosens brake shoes to release the brake pulley. It remains in this position until the drive stops. After the electric motor is switched off, the braking system's spring mechanism lowers the piston to its initial position.

The hydraulic pusher's internal parts include:

  • an asynchronous electric motor
  • an oil pump case
  • a centrifugal wheel
  • a piston with a rod
  • a case with a cylinder.

A sealing ring is installed between the chamber and the motor.

To choose hydraulic pushers correctly, their specifications should be related to braking systems in which they will be used:

  • TE-30: suitable for the TKG-160, TKG-200 braking systems;
  • TE-50: suitable for the TKG-300 system;
  • TE-80: suitable for the TKG-400, TKG-500 systems.
